Watch NFL, NBA and College Games Live: US Sports IPTV by AirnTV

Sunday football, weeknight basketball, college Saturdays and the hockey and baseball in between. Here is which national channels usually carry each league, what one login covers and where the honest limits are.

Yes, you can watch NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and college games on IPTV when they air on the channels in your lineup. AirnTV is US sports IPTV built for game nights. One login opens 25,000+ live channels, including ESPN, ESPN2, ABC, FOX, FS1, CBS, NBC, TNT, TBS and the league networks. Sports channels are grouped by sport and by region, so the game is a few clicks away.

The honest part comes first. We carry channels, not rights. If a channel in the lineup airs a game, you can watch it live. If a game streams only inside an app, or a league moves it to a new partner next season, that is out of our hands. Read on for the map, then test it on a real game night with the 24-hour free trial.

Can You Watch the NFL on IPTV?

Yes. NFL games on national and broadcast TV play on IPTV, because IPTV delivers those same channels over the internet. In recent seasons, NFL games have aired on CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, ABC and NFL Network. All of them are in the AirnTV lineup, so a typical football weekend is covered from the early window to the night game.

Two things are worth knowing before you plan your Sundays.

  • Some national games are app-only. In recent seasons, a weekly game has streamed only on Amazon Prime Video, and a few others went to streaming services. Those are not TV channels, so no IPTV lineup carries them.
  • Sunday afternoon games are regional. CBS and FOX send different games to different markets at the same time. A network feed in any lineup comes from a particular local station, so it shows that market's game.

So the fair answer is yes, for games on the channels, never a promise of complete coverage. We also do not offer out-of-market league packages. If you want the bigger picture of how we stack up for sports overall, our best IPTV for sports checklist walks through what to test.

Which Channels Usually Carry Each US League

Every major US league splits its games between national networks, regional networks and, more and more, streaming apps. The table shows the national channels that have usually carried each league in recent seasons. It is a guide, not a guarantee: leagues sign new deals, partners change between seasons, and the league's own schedule is the final word.

LeagueNational channels seen carrying it in recent seasonsWorth knowing
NFLCBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, ABC, NFL NetworkSunday afternoon games vary by market. Some national games stream only in apps.
NBAESPN, ABC, NBC, NBA TVThe national partners changed recently. Most regular-season games air on regional networks.
MLBFOX, FS1, TBS, ESPN, NBC, MLB NetworkMost of the long season airs on regional networks. Some games are app-only.
NHLESPN, ABC, TNT, NHL NetworkIn Canada, Sportsnet and TSN carry much of the season. Most US regular-season games are regional.
College footballESPN, ABC, FOX, CBS, NBC, FS1, SEC Network, Big Ten Network, ACC NetworkConference networks fill much of the Saturday schedule.
College basketballCBS, ESPN, FS1, TBS, TNT, truTV, conference networksThe March tournament has been split between CBS and the TBS, TNT and truTV group.
WNBAESPN, ABC, CBS, IONThe league has added TV partners recently. Some games stream only in apps.
MLSFOX, FS1, Univision, TUDNOnly selected matches air on TV. Most stream inside Apple's own app.

The pattern is the same for every league. National and broadcast channels are the reliable core, and AirnTV carries them. App-only games and out-of-market packages are not channels, and we do not pretend otherwise. For soccer beyond MLS, our soccer IPTV page has its own table, in English and Spanish.

ESPN and FOX on IPTV: The Two Big Sports Families

Two families of channels do much of the heavy lifting in American sports. Search terms like "IPTV ESPN" and "IPTV FOX" usually come from fans who want both under one roof. Here is what each family looks like in a typical AirnTV lineup.

The ESPN family

ESPN and ESPN2 carry football, basketball, hockey, baseball, tennis and much more. ABC shares many of ESPN's big events. ESPNU and ESPNews add college sport and highlights. The conference channels SEC Network and ACC Network come from the same family and cover college football and basketball in depth. ESPN Deportes adds Spanish-language coverage.

The FOX family

FOX is the broadcast network, home to big NFL, college football and baseball windows in recent seasons. FS1 and FS2 are its cable sports channels, with college sport, baseball, soccer, motorsport and studio shows. Big Ten Network carries that conference's games. FOX Deportes covers sport in Spanish.

Can I watch Fox Sports on IPTV? Yes. FOX, FS1, FS2 and FOX Deportes are part of the AirnTV lineup, live as they air. What they show on a given day depends on their rights that season.

Who Carries FOX Sports for Free?

The FOX broadcast network is free. In most US markets, a local FOX station sends its signal over the air, and any TV with a digital tuner and an antenna can pick it up at no cost. The same goes for CBS, NBC and ABC. That covers many of the biggest NFL and college football games each season.

FS1 and FS2 are different. They are cable channels, so they are not on an antenna. To watch them you need a TV package: cable, satellite, a live TV streaming service or an IPTV lineup that includes them. AirnTV includes both.

The FCC explains how antennas and digital TV work on its antennas and digital television guide, and its reception maps show which stations reach your address. If your local FOX comes in clearly with an antenna, keep it. It makes a great backup on game day. A live lineup is for everything the antenna cannot reach.

Basketball, Hockey and Baseball: The Long Seasons

Football gets the headlines, but basketball, hockey and baseball fill most of the calendar. Between them they cover nearly every month. Their games are spread across many more nights, so knowing your channels matters even more.

NBA on IPTV

National NBA games air on the league's TV partners, which changed recently, along with NBA TV. Those national channels are in the AirnTV lineup. The playoffs move almost entirely onto national TV, which is good news for fans who follow the postseason closely. Some national games now stream only in apps, and they are outside any lineup.

NHL on IPTV

In the US, national hockey has aired on ESPN, ABC and TNT in recent seasons, plus NHL Network. Canadian fans usually look to Sportsnet and TSN. AirnTV groups US and Canadian sports channels separately, so you can jump between them without scrolling through everything.

MLB on IPTV

Baseball plays almost every day from spring to fall. National games have aired on FOX, FS1, TBS and MLB Network in recent seasons, with ESPN and NBC also in the mix. October baseball moves onto those national channels. Most regular-season games, though, air on regional networks, which brings us to the next point.

Regional Sports Networks: The Honest Answer

Regional sports networks, or RSNs, carry most of the local regular-season games in the NBA, NHL and MLB. Think of the FanDuel Sports Network channels, the NBC Sports regional channels, YES, NESN, MSG, Marquee and Spectrum SportsNet. Each one serves a home territory and holds the rights for local teams there.

Here is our straight answer. Many RSN channels appear in the AirnTV lineup, but which ones are available can vary, and the line-up changes over time. RSN games are also tied to territory rules set by the leagues and networks. We do not promise your local team's RSN, and we do not offer tricks to get around league rules.

If one local team is the main reason you are shopping, test that exact channel on a game night during the trial. That is the only fair way to know. National games and the playoffs, which air on national channels, are the far more reliable part of any lineup.

Game Nights at Home: Screens, Setup and Smooth Streams

A sports household rarely watches one game at a time. Every AirnTV plan is sold with 1, 2, 3 or 5 screens, and each screen is one stream playing at once. With two screens, the NFL can play in the living room while college basketball runs on a laptop. Every plan has the same channel list, and the full grid is on our pricing page.

Get ready before kickoff

  1. Start the free trial on a weeknight, not ten minutes before a big game.
  2. Install a trusted player. Our setup guides cover TVs, sticks and boxes, and the TiviMate guide suits Android TV fans.
  3. Open the sports group and add ESPN, FOX, your local networks and your league channels to favorites.
  4. Plug the TV or box into the router with Ethernet if you can.

Streams play in 4K, FHD and HD, with 4K where the broadcaster sends it. Most US sports arrive in HD or FHD. If you are buying a new device, our guide to the best IPTV box covers Ethernet ports and smooth 60-frame playback. Once you order, the login usually arrives in under 15 minutes, so you are watching before kickoff.

What We Will Not Promise US Sports Fans

We would rather lose a sale than make a promise we cannot keep. AirnTV does not promise full coverage of any league, and no IPTV service honestly can. Out-of-market league packages and app-only games are not channels, so they are not part of our lineup. We do not sell single events. A pay-per-view event is only watchable if a channel in the lineup carries it.

We also stay away from anything built to get around league territory rules. Streaming laws vary by country, and our article on whether IPTV is legal answers the common questions. If you are weighing us against a cable sports tier, our comparison of IPTV vs cable lays out both sides. Fight nights, racing and golf have their own page on live events IPTV.

What you do get is simple. The national sports channels live in one login, a human on WhatsApp at +44 7451 256085 during games, and 7 days to ask for your money back on a first order.

US Sports IPTV Questions

Can you watch NFL on IPTV?

Yes. You can watch NFL games that air on channels in the lineup. In recent seasons that has meant CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, ABC and NFL Network, and all are on AirnTV. Sunday afternoon games vary by market, and some national games stream only in apps, so no IPTV service can promise complete coverage.

Can I watch Fox Sports on IPTV?

Yes. FOX, FS1, FS2 and FOX Deportes are part of the AirnTV lineup and stream live as they air. Together they have carried NFL, college football, baseball, soccer and motorsport in recent seasons. What each channel shows on a given day depends on its rights that season, so check the schedule before game night.

Who carries FOX Sports for free?

The FOX broadcast network is free over the air. With an antenna and a TV that has a digital tuner, you can watch your local FOX station at no cost in most US markets. FS1 and FS2 are cable channels, so they need a paid TV package, such as cable, satellite, live TV streaming or an IPTV lineup like AirnTV.

What sports channels are on IPTV?

It depends on the provider. AirnTV carries ESPN, ESPN2, ABC, FOX, FS1, FS2, CBS, CBS Sports Network, NBC, TNT, TBS, NFL Network, NBA TV, MLB Network, NHL Network, conference networks, beIN SPORTS and Spanish-language sports channels. They are grouped by sport and region. The free trial lets you check the exact list before paying.

Is ESPN on AirnTV?

Yes. ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNews and ESPN Deportes are in the AirnTV lineup, along with ABC, SEC Network and ACC Network. Games that ESPN streams only inside its own app are not TV channels, so they are not included. Everything that airs on the channels themselves plays live in the AirnTV sports group.

Can I watch the NBA on IPTV?

Yes, for games that air on national channels in the lineup, such as ESPN, ABC, NBC and NBA TV. The NBA's national partners changed recently, and some games now stream only in apps. Most regular-season games air on regional networks, which vary. The playoffs move mostly onto national TV, so they are the most reliable part.

Are regional sports networks included?

Many regional sports networks appear in the AirnTV lineup, but availability varies and changes over time. RSN games also follow territory rules set by the leagues. We do not promise any particular local team's channel. If one team matters most to you, test that channel on a real game night during the free trial before you order.

Can I watch two games at the same time?

Yes, on a plan with two or more screens. You can order AirnTV for 1, 2, 3 or 5 screens, and each screen is one live stream at the same time. Two screens let a football game play in one room and a basketball game in another. Every plan carries the same sports channels, so screens are the only difference.
