TiViMate Guide for Live Sports: Login, Groups, Buffer and Frame Rate

TiViMate is a live TV player built around its guide grid, and it runs on Google TV, Android TV, Fire OS sticks and Android boxes. That design makes it a favorite with sports fans. Enter your AirnTV login as an Xtream Codes playlist (it lands on WhatsApp in under 15 minutes) and the grid fills with networks and listings. Below, you will sign in, learn to hop between sports groups, hide the regions you never watch and pin the channels your team turns up on. Next come the controls that matter most for fast action: buffer size, the decoder and auto frame rate. Last, we spell out what TiViMate Premium adds, including multi-view for two games on one TV.

Have these ready before you launch TiViMate

  • Something running Google TV, Android TV or Fire OS, such as a Fire TV Stick 4K Max, a Google TV Streamer or an Android box
  • The three Xtream details (server, username, password) from our WhatsApp message
  • Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi on the TV used for games
  • An Android phone with TiViMate Companion, needed only for buying Premium

No login yet? Grab a 24-hour AirnTV trial, no card needed, and set it up on a real game night. Want to know where your games usually air? The AirnTV sports hub maps the sports groups, and the live IPTV explainer covers how channels reach you as they air. When you are ready, check plan lengths and screen counts.

Setting up TiViMate in 12 steps, ending at the live sports groups

  1. Put TiViMate on the TV

On a Google TV or Android TV set, open Google Play, look up TiViMate IPTV Player and grab it free. Fire TV stick owners sideload it with the Downloader app. Samsung, LG and Apple TV sets have no TiViMate version, so use IPTV Smarters Pro on those with your same login.

    Pick an AirnTV plan

  2. Create an Xtream Codes playlist

Launch the app, choose Add playlist and pick Xtream Codes. Enter the three details exactly as our message shows them, then continue. TiViMate contacts the account and reports how many channels it found. A failed connection usually means the server address lost its port number.

  3. Choose what gets loaded

You are asked what to bring in. Live channels are the reason you are here, so leave them on. Movies and series are optional; tick them only if you want them, since a live-only playlist loads quicker on a small stick. Call the playlist AirnTV and finish.

  4. Wait for the guide to populate

Your first load fetches the lineup and listings together. Allow a minute or two before scrolling. After that, the guide grid shows what is airing across each group. Listings arrive through the Xtream login itself, so no extra guide link is required.

  5. Hop between groups

While a channel plays, press OK for the channel list and then press left for the groups. Our sports networks are sorted by sport and by region, so going from a US sports group to soccer takes two presses. Group labels follow our server, so scroll through once to learn them.

  6. Hide regions you skip

Inside Settings, pick Playlists, choose AirnTV and find the group management option. Hiding regions and genres you skip shortens the list a lot for game night, and you can unhide them whenever you like. The exact wording may differ on your version.

  7. Add your game networks to favorites

Hold OK on a channel and select Add to favorites. A Favorites group then sits at the very top. Fill it with the networks that broadcast your league and one backup for marquee games. If your version wants Premium for managing favorites, the app says so before changing anything.

  8. Pick a buffer size for live games

Open Settings, then Playback, then Buffer size. More buffer keeps extra video in reserve, which helps over Wi-Fi, but each channel takes slightly longer to start. Begin in the middle and step up once only if a game still pauses. On a wired line, a small buffer is usually plenty.

  9. Switch on Auto frame rate

Still under Playback, turn Auto frame rate on. Your TV then shifts its refresh rate to fit each channel, so a 60 fps game and a 24 fps movie both display properly and sweeping camera shots stop judder. Both TV and streaming device must support the switch. Current versions treat this as a Premium setting.

  10. Try the other decoder for a problem channel

When one network shows black with audio, or stutters while the rest behave, go to Playback settings and test the alternative decoder your version lists. Hardware decoding is the right starting point on most devices. Return to it once that channel settles, or simply use its sibling feed in the group.

  11. Watch two games with multi-view

TiViMate Premium includes multi-view, which shows several channels on one screen. Launch it from the options that appear when you hold OK on a channel. Each window counts as its own stream, so two games need an AirnTV plan with at least two screens. A cable keeps every window steady.

  12. Weigh up Premium, then add more TVs

The free tier covers live channels and the guide. Premium unlocks extras including multi-view, recording, catch-up, extra playlists and auto frame rate. You buy it inside TiViMate Companion, an Android phone app, and a single account activates as many as five devices. On the next TV, enter the same Xtream details.

Where the live sport settings live in TiViMate

Most TiViMate controls hide behind a long press of OK or inside Settings. Use this chart so you are not hunting while the game starts.

Pick TiViMate or Smarters for your sports TV

TiViMate is happiest on a large TV with a remote. Its grid, fast group hopping, buffer control and auto frame rate are all handy for live sport. For phones, or for Samsung and LG sets, use the IPTV Smarters Pro walkthrough on those screens instead. Prepping a brand-new stick? Our Android TV walkthrough covers installing from Google Play.

Still comparing providers? The best IPTV for sports checklist lists what to test. Then run TiViMate through a real game using the 24-hour AirnTV trial and choose your plan length and screens.

Prefer the official word on menus and settings? Go to the TiViMate home page from its developer. Which game a channel shows depends on that broadcaster's rights for the season and region. Before you commit, use the trial to open the networks you follow, preferably during a live game.

Live game stuttering? Run through this before kickoff

  • The line: plug in an Ethernet cable, or sit near the router on 5 GHz Wi-Fi; a 2.4 GHz signal through two walls struggles with fast action.
  • The household: pause console updates, big downloads and cloud backups while the game is on.
  • The player: raise the buffer one step where the app has that setting, and keep hardware decoding on unless one channel misbehaves.
  • The picture: turn on frame-rate matching if your device offers it, so 60 fps sport does not judder.
  • The channel: if one version of a channel stutters, try another version in the same group and tell support which one it was.

Picture quality on AirnTV runs from HD through FHD to 4K, and 4K appears only when a broadcaster supplies it. For bandwidth and device needs, read what a 4K IPTV setup requires. Planning fight nights or race weekends? The live events page helps.

Common TiViMate problems on game night, and the fixes

TiViMate will not load the playlist

Look at the tail of the server address first; a dropped port number is the usual slip. Make sure your plan has not lapsed. Key the password in by remote; pasting can sneak in an invisible space.

A sports group has disappeared

You may have hidden it. Go to Settings, Playlists, AirnTV and review the groups. If it is not listed at all, update the playlist from that menu so the newest lineup downloads.

Black picture, but audio plays

The device may be unable to decode that feed. Test the alternative decoder under Playback settings, or switch to a sibling feed of the same network in that group.

The game keeps pausing to load

Step Buffer size up by one, use a cable where possible and stop downloads elsewhere in the house. If only one network pauses, use its other feed and let support know which.

Auto frame rate cannot be selected

Current versions reserve it for Premium, and both the TV and the device must handle refresh-rate switching. Also check the display options on the stick or box itself.

Favorites look empty after a lineup update

When the lineup changes, a few favorite entries can point at channels that moved. Open the Favorites group, remove anything that no longer plays and pin the current versions from the sports group.

Premium prompt when adding a second playlist

Free users get one playlist. Upgrade via Companion or remove the old entry first. One AirnTV playlist already holds every live channel and sports group.

Your questions on TiViMate and AirnTV

Why do sports fans like TiViMate?

Because TiViMate was designed around live channels and the guide, so moving between sports groups with a remote is quick. Buffer size and auto frame rate keep fast action smooth, and Premium adds multi-view for a pair of games at once. It runs on Android TV, Google TV and Fire OS, but not on Samsung, LG or Apple TVs.

What do I get with TiViMate Premium?

Premium unlocks extras such as multi-view, recording, catch-up, more than one playlist, favorites management and auto frame rate. The free tier still covers live channels and the guide. Purchase happens only in the Companion app for Android phones, and one account activates up to five devices. Confirm the current feature list in the app first.

What buffer size works best in TiViMate?

Begin with a middle setting. Over a cable, a small buffer is often enough and channels open quicker. Over Wi-Fi, step up once if a game pauses. The largest settings add a short wait every time you change channel, so use them only when smaller steps still stall.

Multi-view in TiViMate: how do two games share one TV?

You need Premium. Multi-view places several channels on one screen and starts from the menu you get by holding OK on a channel. Every window is its own stream, so two games require an AirnTV plan with two screens or more. Check your connection can carry the extra data, ideally wired.

Does TiViMate come with channels?

Not one. TiViMate is purely a player, and Premium unlocks features rather than content. Your channels come from the provider you add, such as AirnTV. Be careful with sellers who bundle a TiViMate license with channels, and stay away from cracked builds, which can carry malware and expose your login.

Is there a TiViMate app for phones?

No. TiViMate targets TV screens and remotes, and the Companion phone app exists just to handle Premium. Android phones and tablets take IPTV Smarters Pro, and iPhones or iPads take Smarters Player Lite, both signing in with your AirnTV details. Every device that plays counts against your plan screens.
