1. Locate the Xtream option

   Expect something shaped like http://tv.example.net:8080. It begins with http:// and finishes on a colon plus a port number. The port must be the very last thing, with no slash or blank space trailing it. This field is behind most failed sign-ins, so double-check it.

3. Credentials next

   Take the username and password character for character from our message. Upper and lower case are treated as different, so one wrong capital locks you out. Asked for a profile name too? Use the room or the person, for example Den or Garage TV.

4. Allow the first download to complete

   The app now requests our channel categories, the networks inside each and the guide. A small stick may need a minute or two. Keep your hands off the remote. On every launch afterwards it reads a saved copy and opens in moments.

5. Understand how sports groups appear

   Under the hood, the player queries our server API for the live categories, then for the channels in each. That explains why AirnTV sports groups look identical in every Xtream player: labels and order come from us, not from the app.

6. Open a sports group and pin channels

   Go to the live section of the player and open a sports group. Play a network to check it, then save it as a favorite using the long-press menu, heart or star your app provides. With a short list in place, game day takes two clicks.

7. Use the guide that travels with the login

   Listings come bundled with Xtream sign-in, so most apps display now-and-next with nothing more to configure. Check before kickoff to confirm the network airing your game, as rights move between seasons. A blank listing is no proof the game is missing, so tune in.

8. Treat catch-up as a bonus

9. Remember settings stay inside each app

   Favorites, hidden groups, buffer choices and watch history are saved by the app on each device. None of it syncs through your AirnTV account. A new phone or TV starts blank, so recreate your short list on every screen you use for games.

10. Switch stream format if a channel stutters

    Xtream servers can deliver live channels as MPEG-TS or as HLS. Certain apps let you choose between them in settings. If one network stutters on your device, flipping the format is a quick test. Revert if nothing improves.

11. Use the login on more devices

    Type the same trio into a phone, laptop or second TV. Installs are unlimited; what is capped is streams playing at once, one to five depending on your plan. Two games in two rooms means a plan with two screens or more.

12. Keep the trio private

    Star the WhatsApp message, or keep the details in a password manager app. Anyone holding them can occupy your screens and bump your game mid-drive. Never post them in forums or group chats. Think they leaked? Support can issue a new password.

Live game stuttering? Run through this before kickoff

• The line: plug in an Ethernet cable, or sit near the router on 5 GHz Wi-Fi; a 2.4 GHz signal through two walls struggles with fast action.
• The household: pause console updates, big downloads and cloud backups while the game is on.
• The player: raise the buffer one step where the app has that setting, and keep hardware decoding on unless one channel misbehaves.
• The picture: turn on frame-rate matching if your device offers it, so 60 fps sport does not judder.
• The channel: if one version of a channel stutters, try another version in the same group and tell support which one it was.

Only an M3U field is offered

Correct password, still refused

Inspect the server field. Most rejections trace back to a missing http://, an incorrect port number or a slash after it. If it checks out, see whether the plan has passed its end date, as plans never roll over automatically.

Channels appear but no listings

Guide data arrives after the lineup. Wait a few minutes, then refresh the guide inside the app. If it stays empty, log out and log in again.

Too many connections warning

Your plan screen limit has been reached. End a stream on another device, or give a forgotten session roughly sixty seconds to time out. A paused channel still occupies a slot, so close apps completely.

The server field will not accept the address

Some apps want host and port in separate boxes. Put the address minus the port in the server box, only the number in the port box, and no slash anywhere at the end.

The first load seems endless

Indexing channels and guide data is hard work for a modest stick. Leave it alone until done. Each later launch uses a saved copy and opens far quicker.

Sports groups look reshuffled since yesterday

Lineup updates can rename or reorder groups on our side. Refresh the player so it pulls the current list. If a favorite stopped playing, it may point at a retired channel entry, so remove it and pin the current one.
